Description

Our cabin was built in 1925 for visitors to the Ohanapecosh Hot Springs in Mt. Rainier National Park, then transported to Packwood after the resort was shuttered in 1966. We've revived the rustic look and feel of the resort, including the hot springs, and added modern amenities like WiFi and a professional kitchen. Our 1963 trailer includes a fireplace and full size bed. 2.5 hours from SEA and PDX, and 7 miles to Mt. Rainier National Park. We're dog friendly.

What a gem

We spent one night at the Ohana cabin - not nearly enough time to enjoy the cabin and everything it has to offer. The kitchen is very well equipped - good to know for our next trip. The walls are lined with a tremendous selection of books - one can spend a year and not get through all of them. The cedar hot tub is a delight. The trailer bedroom in the back is a unique treasure. We didn't get a chance to use but it is extremely comfortable. Not enough can be said - but we will be back

Had an amazing time! The cabin was perfect!

It was like a time warp with all the unique and retro amenities. Loved reading the old magazines/books and exploring all little trinkets and art on the wall. We took the advice of hiking to Packwood lake and it was better than we imagined! Such a great hike close to the cabin and awesome to come back and soak in the hot tub. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook a gourmet meal which is not always the case in cabin rentals. Can't wait to come back in the Summer!!!

Wish we stayed for a WEEK!

I can't say anything negative about this place. The attention to detail in adorning the cabin was absolutely incredible. Every bit of it maximized the cozy amount of space that came with the historic property. We squeezed as much time into all of the amenities of the cabin as we could-- the stereo system, the kitchen, the cedar tub, the loft, the games. We even took a long hike straight from the backyard into the woods when the rain cleared! Hosts were extremely communicative and available the entire time we were there. It was everything and more you would want in a getaway. My only regret is that I didn't book it longer :(. It was the best birthday cabin I've ever rented. 10/10

LOVED IT!

We loved this little getaway so much! Our 3 person quarantine pod + one pup spent 3 nights here and it was perfect. So close to fun trails and snow, but it was also fun to just hang in the cute cabin & trailer. The hot tub was also amazing!!! We had an issue with the thermostat and Ryan came right away to fix it - issue was a bigger deal than could be fixed on the spot so he offered to pay for firewood for the weekend instead (place is tiny so a small fire heats it right up!) Super attentive and nice hosts. Can't wait to stay here again (or in one of their other properties!)

WE LOVED THE TRAILER, CEDAR HOT TUB, BBQ, AND FIRE PIT!!

This place was fantastic! I feel like this place is a hidden gem. There’s so much do and explore in this cabin. It’s close to trails, supermarket etc. This place was super clean, super stylish, and Ryan’s communication was A+. We will deft be back! This place is worth every penny!

The space is perfect for that much needed get away.

The space is perfect for that much needed get away. It’s so cozy and absolutely adorable! I know it’s described that they aren’t secluded, but just to paint a better picture this house is on a loop road with lots of other houses. I will say though, there was only two/three neighbors home while I was there and I only knew that because I saw them in passing. Thank you for providing such an amazing space!!

Will keep this spot in mind for future travel!

We had to cut our stay here short in light of rapidly changing travel plans, but the cabin is great. Ryan was quick to communicate everything and even has put together a manual to make check in and out a seamless experience.

We couldn’t help but explore every detail of the property as soon as we arrived.

The space will make you smile as you take in the thoughtful design choices. The cabin was extremely spacious, clean and well stocked for our stay. You will quickly switch into “vacation mode”, just a few hours from home. We would love to come back for skiing or to experience another season with our family.

This was one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at.

There is so much thought and intention behind the space they’ve created. It’s small and cozy, and heats up nicely inside for any cold nights you may be there. The kitchen is fantastic, and it has anything and everything you might need when it comes to kitchenware. We loved the cedar wood hot tub, of course. Only thing to note is that the property isn’t very secluded—they mention this in the description, but in case anyone hasn’t read that fully and is expecting something isolated in the mountains—just know that there are neighbors in somewhat close proximity. We were not bothered by that at all (or else we wouldn’t have booked), but just wanted to give a heads-up to future guests. The location is great, by the way. Really close to lots of great trails, and there’s an awesome brewery in town 5-10 minutes away. Highly recommend this stay if you’re looking for a relaxing, cozy place with an incredible aesthetic.
