Birthday getaway

I booked Ryan and Val's place for a birthday weekend getaway and it was truly wonderful. Ryan was so communicative throughout the entire process and was a very gracious host. The cabin itself is a perfectly curated piece of rustic heaven, and I only wished I had booked a longer stay. I can't wait for my next visit to Pine Marten (or one of the other Little Owl properties)!

Mountain Oasis

A friend and I came to the Pine Marten to escape the drudgery of the pandemic. We just loved this cabin. We came with the intention of relaxing and this space was perfect. The cabin is in a small but quiet neighborhood with no neighbors to the back (just woods and elk neighbors!) and thoughtful fencing for privacy. The baby frame is the most adorable and cozy spot. The WiFi is surprisingly very good (although I couldn’t get a connection in the baby frame.) I was surprised by the quality of all of the amenities. The beds are plush memory foam and very comfy. The kitchen equipment is way beyond what I would expect in a rental (the coffee maker in particular!) The provided toiletries were great and I loved the signature woodsy scent. The vinyl collection was small but mighty and the books were all fascinating. The hot tub is really nice and I appreciate their usage of alternative chemicals, it was very kind to my skin and hair. I can’t wait to return with a bigger group in the future to explore more of the area.

Perfectly Curated Cabin

The cabin is cozy, the things inside incredibly and thoughtfully curated. Comfortable bed, nice linens. Good wifi and cell reception, which we needed because we had to work (bleh). This is the first rental property we've stayed at that truly had an equipped kitchen and it meant A LOT to us. Forest in the "backyard" to explore - we didn't even need to leave to hike. I truly wouldn't hesitate to come back and don't think you can go wrong booking this cabin - just make sure you give yourself enough time because I'm going to bet that you'll want to stay longer.

Hey Cooper, thanks for the kind review! Hope you had a great birthday getaway. Welcome to your 30s! 🥳 Come stay with us again sometime.

We will visit again!

Ryan’s place was a fabulous getaway for my family! We loved the charming cabin and the ease of having everything necessary there including a fully stocked kitchen with local coffee waiting for us on the counter! The place was spacious and fully functional, and we went into full relaxation mode!

We loved it, you will too.

Such a nice place to call home for a few days. Location near Packwood was a perfect jumping off point for hiking in the area. The cabins and Airstream are in a nice neighborhood setting but with ample privacy provided by trees on each side and a green belt behind the lot. Main cabin has everything you could need to cook a great meal and make coffee in the AM. Beds in both Aframes were very comfy. The fire pits out back are nice and the hot tub was warm and ready. We enjoyed the record player and all of the streaming options on the TV when we decided to come in.

I would definitely recommend this location to everyone I know.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and the moment we walked in we were stunned by how amazing the place was. It had a rustic feel with updated amenities and touches. It was cozy and warm. We enjoyed how quiet it was, how we felt secluded even though we had neighbors. We left only wishing we had brought our boys so they could experience the cabin and we could have utilized the extra spaces (airstream and small cabin also on the property). We would have loved to stay longer than 2 nights and have been inspired to build our own cabin someday! Thank you so much for allowing us to relax and enjoy the woods/mountain in such a beautiful and cozy cabin!

This is a great little getaway for a couple or a group.

Lots of space to hang out, cook, or work remotely. Hot tub & fire pit were super relaxing. Clean and easy check-in. Ryan was a great host! Definitely stop for groceries on your way into town.

Cool cabin in a small town!

Best time of year if going to MT rainier would be anything after June. The road to get to paradise was closed so we had to go all the way back to where we came from lol but the place is very chill loaded with awesome touches and amenities. If you’re looking for a relaxing chill place to stay and get away from the hustle and bustle then this place is for you!
